Delaware River Striped Bass fishing Report

The Delaware River finally receded to flow levels that were just about perfect prior to the 24 hour rain event. Water definitely came up but looks like the damage is minimized and will rebound in a few days. Of course the is if the the north didn’t get completely hammered.

The fishing was exceptional this week with some big fish caught up to 35 lbs. most trips this weekend saw a good amount of stripers caught from 16, 12, 7 down to 3. The key to fishing is actually fishing and not giving up in 1 hour. Fish move in and out, behavior changes with the tide and weather.
