Stripers in the Delaware River

Post date: Oct 14, 2015 1:26:48 PM

This is the time of year that stripers start biting again in the Delaware River. Now we don't have a migration like we have in the spring but what we do have is hold over. A hold over is a bass that lives in the Delaware River all summer and winter and may decide to move down towards the Delaware Bay during the colder months of the Year. These fish are typically 15-25 inches and can be a lot of fun on lighter tackle. The numbers can vary from 1-4 fish to 5-10 fish.
