Striper Bite is on. Book or have regrets!
If you have been following my articles about "How to Catch Striped Bass on the Delaware River" this will fill in some gaps for the bank fishermen that I have neglected. Below is brief overview of where to fish from land on the Delaware River, covering Philadelphia to Bucks County with google maps and pin drops. I just want to advise people that some areas are not the best place to fish alone or bring kids. Some locations are in rough areas and even in Bristol I have heard of people getting robbed and pistol whipped.
#1 Betsy Ross Bridge:
Type of Fishing- Cut Bait
Nice deep water hole with a back eddy.
#2 Tacony Flats:
Type of Fishing- Cut Bait
Great spot and can handle a crowd, shallow water flats. Many 30 lb bass have been caught here
#3 Frankford Arsenal
Type of Fishing- Cut Bait
Deep water bank
#4 Dredge Harbor both PA and NJ
Type of Fishing- Cut Bait
Ranges from deep water ledges to shallow water
#5 Rancocous Creek, NJ and North Delaware Ave, PA
Type of Fishing- Cut Bait
Deep water on the PA side, Shallow water on NJ side with a deep water ledge.
#6 Glenford and Poquessing Creek
Type of Fishing- Cut Bait
Mid range water, Sand/Mud flat with a ledge
#7 Station Ave
Type of Fishing- Cut Bait
Mud flat with rocks mixed in, a long cast gets you in deep water
#8 Camer Avenue
Type of Fishing- Cut Bait
Deep water drop off in to a pile of rocks
#9 Neshimany State Park
Type of Fishing- Cut Bait
Sloping flats in to deep water with a long cast
#10 Burlington Bridge
Type of Fishing- Cut Bait
Shallow water slopping in to deeper water with a long cast
#11 Bristol Park
Type of Fishing- Cut Bait
Shallow water in close with a quick drop of in to deeper water
#12 Florence NJ
Type of Fishing- Cut Bait
Shallow water sloping in to deep water with a long cast

#14 Trenton Power Plant Jetty
Type of Fishing- Cut Bait
Shallow water inside the cove and drops off deep in the main river
