Captain Dom knows the best spots to ensure a fun filled trip of "exhaustive" shooting.Our boat is unique, custom built and designed by Captain Dom specifically for comfortable, safe and most of all a fun filled Bowfishing experience. Delaware River Bow Fishing FAQ

What can you expect?

Fun. If you like shooting a bow at a challenging target you will love Bowfishing. Our trip is four hours or so from start to finish. Expect to need a break from shooting, we shoot a lot and the fish are abundant.

Do I need my own Bow?

No. Captain Dom supplies each person with professional, top of the line equipment to make your experience enjoyable and fun. You may bring your own equipment if you wish.

Left handed bow is provided, No Cross Bows permitted

How long is the Trip?

Four hours from launch to return. Plan to be at our launch point 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time.

How should I dress?

No special clothing is required. Closed toe foot wear is required - no sandals/flip flops or open toe footwear please. Loose fitting is best for shooting. Don' t forget your Camera!! For daytime trips polarized sunglasses are highly recommended.

Do I need a license?

Yes a New Jersey or Pennsylvania fishing license is required. You can obtain a licensehere. Or you visit a local sporting goods store or one of the many DICK'S Sporting Goods Stores in the area.

Is it Ok to bring food or drink?

Yes. Be aware no alcoholic beverages may be brought on board.

Where can I park?

Free parking is available right at the launch point

Is this a family friendly sport?

Very much so. Bow fishing is a safe, unique and fun family experience. Our bows are adjustable which allows youngsters to enjoy the fun of shooting at our elusive targets. Get ready for lots of laughs. Be sure you have your camera ready.

What happens to the fish?

You certainly are welcome to take the fish you shoot. Fish not taken are donated to animal shelters where they are processed for food.
