Smallmouth Bass bite gets better as the river clears

Over the last week the Delaware River has been off color from heavy rain the week before and some rain up state this week. We fished every day and had to work hard for our bass but we average about 14 smallmouth bass, 4 stripers, and 2 walleyes a person. Over the last two days with the clearer water the fishing has really taken off, catching over 20 fish in the early mornings and picking up plenty of fish drifting during the day. The water temp temp is climbing to the summer temps about 78 degrees with good water flow with plenty of oxygen.
All our fish have come off of artificial lures, I can only image how the bite will be if when we throw minnows, crawfish and stone cats in the mix.
