Red Hot Delaware River Striper bite

Post date: Apr 19, 2019 1:43:20 PM

This week we had a major rain blow out and more rain to come.

The lower river south of Delaware to Bristol has been red hot despite the mud. Fishermen using cut bait and bloodworms have had the most success. The full moon has turn on the fish even with the river temperature dropping to 51 degrees. This is why if the river gets blown out I change my location to fish where the fish are or can be caught. The advantages of being in a trailer.

This big hog of a Delaware River Striper was caught by a client and friend not with me. It it a well deserved pig that Phil put his time in and woke up early morning 3:300 am to get where needed to be to capture this hog!
